The goal of Men’s Ministries is to reach men in the community who don't know Jesus or have not been involved in church for a long time, as well
as ministering to men in our body. We want men to feel comfortable and to realize that there are others just like them here at Easthaven.
Offerings for men include small groups with a manly emphasis, a yearly hunter's banquet, and a men's retreat at Middle Thompson lake.

Double-Deck Pinochle
If you enjoy playing Pinochle, you’ll love Double-Deck Pinochle! While there are different variations to the game, we will play by what is generally referred to as “Military Rules”. You can go to http://www.doubledeck.com/rules.htm to get an overview and general idea about how the game is played. Check it out! Print out a copy if you need to, and get ready for a fun game night!
We would like to have an initial game night beginning at 6:30 June 24 at the Kaufman home 263 Ashley Meadows. We will break for the summer, then start up again next December or January and meet once a month through the winter. All experience levels are welcome, from no experience to advanced. Coaching will be provided as needed.

HANDGUN PROFICIENCY CLASS

A course to improve accuracy, efficiency, and confidence of men who already understand the operation and functions of their handguns.
Some of the material covered in the course include:saftey, stance, drawing from the holster, grip, sight aquisition, and sight picture. THIS IS NOT A QUALIFICATION CLASS FOR CONCEALED CARRY PERMITS.

Things to bring to the range:Eye and ear protection (mandatory), UNLOADED handgun, holster, minimum 50 rnds ammo (100 rnds preferred), and lunch.
Approx. 2 hrs. classroom time at EBC room 410. The rest of the day, shooting somewhere there isn’t any snow.
