Pastors and Ministry Directors

Daniel S. Lambert, Senior Pastor
Daniel is a native of Louisiana, but spent most of his formative years in Texas.  He is blessed to have a wonderful heritage of faith and grew up in a Christian home.  He was raised in a small East Texas town until the middle of grade school and then moved to the suburbs around the city of Houston.  It was on a snow skiing trip with hisyouth group during his junior year in high school that he felt God's call to preach the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.  It was that one night in his life that forever changed the course of his journey.  He chose to obey God's call and began pursuing a life direction toward ministry from that day forward.

Daniel holds a Bachelor degree in Communications from Baylor University in Waco, TX, a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and a Doctorate degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary from their extension on the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary campus in Cochrane, Alberta.  Daniel married Vicki back in 1989 and they spent their first two summers traveling up and down the west coast of the United States.  It was during those years that God confirmed a call to serve in the northwest.  Daniel came to Easthaven at the age of 26 and has been the pastor here since 1991.  Daniel and Vicki have two children; Daniel William and Adrianna.  Their family enjoys camping, snow skiing, pizza and movie nights at home together, and traveling.  Daniel is an avid hunter and loves being in the outdoors.  He has a deep commitment to seeing others come to faith in Jesus Christ, planting new churches and mission work around the world.  The Lamberts have found their home here in Montana.

Vicki Lambert, Director of Worship
Vicki was born and raised just north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where her parents still live in the house they brought her home from the hospital to at birth.  She is very blessed to have wonderful Christian parents who took her to church and taught her of the Lord all of her life.  She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a young girl during a school chapel service where the speaker challenged the students to place faith in Him much like they do in a chair when they sit down.  That picture helped her understand the importance of putting her trust in Jesus and her life has never been the same.  Another significant part of Vicki's childhood was music.  She started taking piano lessons when she was around 7 years old and has been tickling the ivories over the course of the years since.  She also developed a great love for singing very early in life and participated in church and school choirs for many years.

Vicki holds a Bachelor degree in Education from Louisiana State University and spent several years teaching children in both public and private schools in Louisiana, Texas, and Montana.  She married Daniel in 1989 and after he finished seminary a couple of years later, the couple relocated to Kalispell for him to pastor our church.  Little did we know that our new pastor also came with our new worship director and Vicki has been serving the Lord and beckoning us into His presence every Sunday since those early years.  She loves being a mom and is very active in her children's lives.  She teaches elementary Latin at Stillwater Christian School and accompanies their chorale program.  Vicki loves traveling and spending time with her family, both here and back in Louisiana.  She loves music, camping, snow skiing, all kinds of sports, and entertaining people in her home.  She leads the musical portion of our morning worship services, directs our praise bands and loves inviting others to worship the Lord Jesus.

Joey Gardner, Associate Pastor
Joey was born and raised right here in Kalispell.  He grew up in a wonderful Christian family where the love of God was shared openly.  Joey attended an after- school Bible study called the J.O.Y. club during the third grade.  It was during this weekly meeting when he realized God had provided a way for him to be forgiven and found the promise of eternal life with God in heaven.  Joey made the decision to follow Jesus for himself for the rest of his life.

Joey’s family started attending Easthaven when he was in sixth grade and he loved his years as part of the youth ministry here.  He graduated from Flathead High School in 1983 and went to the University of Washington where he received a degree in mechanical engineering.  After graduation, he spent six years in the Navy where he was stationed in San Diego, Japan, Moscow (Idaho, not Russia) and served onboard a destroyer in the Gulf War.

In 1993, Joey and Debby were married, and soon after they headed to California for seminary.  While receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as youth and family minister at a church in Vallejo, California. Joey and Debby returned to Kalispell in 1998 and he has served as an associate pastor with us here at Easthaven since March of 1999.  They have four boys: Caleb, Josiah, Jonathan, and David.  Joey’s primary area of ministry with us is working with high school and college students.

Matthew Fitzwater, Associate Pastor
Pastor Matthew was born in Pasadena, CA but spent the majority of his childhood here in Kalispell.  He was blessed to have been raised in a strong Christian home and came to know Jesus as his personal Savior as a young child.  Matthew grew up right here at Easthaven Baptist Church and has been a member of this church since moving to Kalispell in 1978.  After graduating from Flathead High School in 1988, he went to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas where he received his BA with a major in psychology and a minor in religion.  He later returned to UMHB where he obtained a Masters of Arts in Psychology.  It was also at UMHB that Matthew met his wife, Christy, and they were married in June of 1991. Matthew and Christy have two children.

Andy McPeak, Associate Pastor
Andy spent the majority of his adolescent, high school and college years in Connecticut. He was led to the Lord by his mom on Christmas eve,1990.  Needless to say, Andy was blessed with a wonderful, Christ-centered family that encouraged his growth and development.  He earned his bachelor's in Business Administration after an amazing experience at Messiah College in Grantham, PA. In the years following graduation he had experiences as a banker, working & ministering in Glacier National Park, directing a College Ministry program, and directing a Youth Missions Site on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Lame Deer, MT.

It is this journey that brought him to begin ministry here at Easthaven Baptist Church in November 2006. His main responsibilities include the direction and oversight of IGNITE, our Middle School Ministry and leadership of our Sunday night service - e3.

In December 2007 Andy married his longtime friend Bekah and they are loving life together! He is presently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary in Cochrane, Alberta.  When Andy and Bekah are not at the church working on some aspect of ministry or studying, they are most likely out hiking and enjoying the beautiful Montana outdoors!

Sue Graham, Director of Children’s Ministries

Sue Graham was born and raised in the Seattle, Washington area in a Christian Science home. After graduating from high school and leaving  that faith, she attended Washington State University in Pullman, WA and later received her BA in Business Administration from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.  She returned to the Seattle area to pursue a career in paper and commercial print sales.  After many years in this career, Sue realized she was not particularly happy and chose to quit her sales job.  She spent the next two years traveling, exploring other career options, and considering various spiritual ideologies.  It was while on a ski trip to Revelstoke, B.C. that she met her husband, Keith.  Shortly after they met, she discovered that the Bible was literally God’s Word, and gave her life to Christ.  Keith and Sue married in 1991 and settled on his family farm near Red Deer, Alberta, for the next 12 years where they grew grain and raised cattle.  They retired from farming in 2002, and moved into Red Deer for the next several years before relocating to the beautiful Flathead Valley in 2006.  Since they have lived in Kalispell, Sue has worked as an instructional aide.  Sue and Keith have one daughter Elizabeth.

Sue has been involved in Children’s Ministries for the past 18 years in various capacities.  She served in their previous church in Red Deer as the assistant to her Children’s Pastor for 3 years.  She helped launch a kid’s club program and developed the church’s pre-school program.  Sue has a huge heart for children, firmly believes that they are God’s “special gifts” and loves serving as Director of Children’s Ministries here at Easthaven Baptist Church.  Sue began volunteering in our Children’s ministry in 2007 and was hired to serve in this position in the February of 2010
