At Easthaven Baptist Church,

choices for Bible Study on Sunday mornings, follow

We have four excellent adult classes,
a college/career class, as well as youth, children and preschool classes.
Wouldn't you like to cultivate a closer relationship with God,
increase your knowledge of scripture and form closer bonds with other
members of the Easthaven body? This is
a perfect opportunity for you to do just that as your whole family comes to meet
friends in a Bible study on Sunday morning at 9:30, then share in worship with
the whole body at 10:30.
Bible Study & Fellowship Options
Family Bible Study
Family Bible Study is built on a consistent, central message that extends across all departments and age-groups with common Bible passages as often as suitable, making it a Bible study for the entire family.
The series uses a comprehensive , balanced, and appropriately sequenced study of Bible books, people, doctrine, history, and classic Bible passages designed to achieve the goal of "Building the Family of Faith to Live by God's Truth".
Explore the Bible Series
The "Explore The Bible" series systematically covers all 66 books of the Bible based on the nature, structure, and content of the Bible as a whole, in ways that are appropriate for the needs of todays adults.
Learners are guided to engage in a comprehensive study of the Bible text and the series assumes that learners will complete advanced preparation before the session.
Extended Teaching Care
For children ages 2 to 3, this is an extension of Sunday school Bible study with activities and singing.
Children's Worship/Fellowship
Wee One's Worship
Children ages 4 to 10 spend an hour with a dedicated team who present
the Bible through drama, skits and singing. Every parent
should check it out at least once, but be ready to take part in the
activities, the kids Love it! (Note: Children
are dismissed to participate in W.O.W. during the second worship
service).
About W.O.W.
Wee One’s Worship (W.O.W.) is an exciting, fast paced worship service
designed especially for kids ages four through ten.
In W.O.W., kids discover that church can be fun and something to look
forward to each week. They learn songs that are not only fun to sing, but
also communicate spiritual truths and biblical principles.
Through Bible stories, object lessons, puppetry, and much more, the Gospel
is presented in a way that children can understand.
W.O.W. helps children understand God’s unconditional love. W.O.W. lessons
also assist children in developing the skills they will need to follow a
Christ-centered life.
W.O.W. is held during the 11:00 a.m. service.
About our Leaders
W.O.W. leaders desire to make a difference in the lives of children by using
effective and creative ways that communicate God’s love.
W.O.W. leaders consider it a privilege to provide this ministry as an
encouragement for children to draw close to our Savior.
Our Goals
Our desire is to support you in your parenting efforts by offering a dynamic
ministry to your children. We want to guide them into a personal
relationship with Christ by modeling Christ, faithfully teaching God's Word,
and nurturing them in God's love. We want to communicate the love of God
to
children by:
- Providing a safe, accepting environment where all children feel loved and
valued.
- Being a partner with you in the spiritual nurturing of your son or daughter.
- Providing caring, quality leaders whose lives model the lessons they teach.
- Reaching out to children in God's love and teaching them God's truth.
- Building a strong biblical foundation in an exciting, experiential, and
relevant way.
- Helping them gain a Christian perspective as they work through issues they
face at home, at school, and with friends.
- Encouraging a heart to minister and providing opportunities to use their
gifts in ministry to others.
